French stock market down 0.97 percent on Oct. 8

  PARIS, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) -- The French stock market CAC 40 kept performing weak on Wednesday, with a decrease of 41.02 index points, and closed at 4168.12 points, down by 0.97 percent.

  Among the 40 selected companies, 32 experienced decrease, while 8 gained advance.

  Kering gained an advance of 1.16 percent, while Alcatel-Lucent lost most and decreased by 4.74 percent.
